signs of spring

some proof that spring really is here...

well, winter is supposed to still be here, but it really hasn't seemed much like winter for a while. I hear of all the snow that other places are getting.... I love looking at snow, but I have to say, I'm glad I'm not shoveling it. =)

We have however, gotten some very pretty ice crystals. I love walking outside and seeing the edges of all the leaves covered in tiny spikes of ice.

I had to go out and try to capture the beauty of it all with my camera. I don't know that I really did it justice, but, the sun was out melting away the natural art as I tried to photograph it.

I know not everyone enjoys the cold of winter, but there sure is a lot of beauty in it. So here is to winter, ice, and art!
